Community Involvement

 

Louisville Christian Assistance Center (LCAC)

 

The Louisville Christian Assistance Center (LCAC) is an outreach ministry of the churches of the Louisville Area which provides food, clothing, and other items to those in need in the community and surrounding area. Our purpose is to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of those who come seeking help.

 

We are open on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm on Monday.

 

St. Mark’s United Methodist Church (UMC) is a charter member along with Immanuel UMC, Middlesettlements UMC, Beech Grove, Zion Chapel Baptist Churches, and Louisville Christian Church.  The Center phone number is (865) 233-3112

 

Boy Scouts

 

Saint Marks Troop 188 is open for all young men ages 11-18. Please visit our site online here. We meet at Saint Marks every Monday night at 6:30. We will be hiking, backpacking, camping, rock climbing, bicycling, etc…once every month. COME JOIN THE FUN IN THE OUTDOORS!
