United Methodist Church
Nestled in the rolling hills of beautiful East Tennessee is St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Founded in the early 1800s, the church has ministered to the Louisville community for over 160 years.
St. Mark’s is a medium sized church with a small country church heart. We enjoy serving God, our community and the world through missions. We offer a variety of worship services including traditional and gospel, with contemporary service of Praise and Worship to be added in Fall 2007. Our mission statement makes clear our fourfold calling in Christ:
We have ministry opportunities for people of all ages. St. Mark’s children are praying, playing and growing in their faith. St. Mark’s youth meet weekly, go on an annual mission trip and attend Resurrection in Gatlinburg, TN. We eat together every Wednesday at 5:00 pm and offer a monthly fellowship for senior adults called Prime Time Seniors. These are just a few of the ministry opportunities at St. Mark’s.
